Food and Behaviour Diet changes are often made by owners of dogs and cats with behaviour issues. Removal of artificial additives, colours and preservatives has often had a positive effect on an animals behaviour. Dogs have been described as showing behaviour similar to ADD and ADHD seen in children and the behaviour sometimes improves when those things are removed from the diet. There are also documented cases of aggressive reactions improving after diet change. With all this in mind and also keeping an eye on the right level of energy in food and the right amounts of protein for growing or already grown dogs, Intelligent Feeding was born. The whole range is free from any artificial products and some contain chondroitin and glucosamine to promote healthy joints. Only quality ingredients are used to help maintain the general and digestive health of your pet. Changing food alone will not solve behaviour issues, but it can be a tool in a sensible regime of training and exercise. We urge clients to see a good behaviourist for advice.
